INCA PRIEST / PRIESTESS INITIATIONS by María Apaza and family. Maria is 96 years old and is the only female altomisayoc (spiritual priestess) of the Q'ero nation speaking only Quechua.
The Q'ero nation, in upper Cusco, is considered the last ayllu (community) of the Incas and its maximum spiritual authority is María Apaza who speaks with the Apus (Spirit of the mountain.) She is the highest spiritual representative of the Peruvian Andes and is the living jewel of one of the most authentic traditions in South America.
An ALTOMISAYOC is the most important magical rank of the Q'ero nation. One can only reach high rank if chosen by nature. In Maria's case, she was struck by lighting in her mid twenties while walking alone in the mountains and survived after having died. She woke up to the smell of burning flesh but with no tissue damage.
Altomisayocs are considered the only sacred intermediary that has direct and tangible contact with the consciousness and spirit of the sacred mountains (apus) and Mother Earth (Pachamama.)

INICIACIONES de SACERDOTISTA/E de los INCAS son bendecidas por María Apaza y familia. María tiene 96 años y es la única mujer altomisayoc (sacerdotisa espiritual) de la nación Q'ero que habla solo quechua.
La nación Q'ero, en el alto Cusco, es considerada el último ayllu (comunidad) de los Incas y su máxima autoridad espiritual es María Apaza quien habla con los Apus (Espíritu de la montaña). Es la máxima representante espiritual del Perú . Andes y es la joya viva de una de las tradiciones más auténticas de América del Sur.
Un ALTOMISAYOC es el rango mágico más importante de la nación Q'ero. Uno solo puede alcanzar un alto rango si es elegido por la naturaleza. En el caso de María, fue alcanzada por un rayo cuando tenía veintitantos años mientras caminaba sola por las montañas y sobrevivió después de haber muerto. Se despertó con el olor a carne quemada pero sin daños en los tejidos.
Los altomisayocs son considerados el único intermediario sagrado que tiene contacto directo y tangible con la conciencia y el espíritu de las montañas sagradas (apus) y la Madre Tierra (Pachamama)
